Thank you for visiting our site!  We are excited to be in the heart of Penticton.  We are a husband and wife team, Dan + Lynn, that dreamt of opening a restaurant of our own since we met 20 years ago.  It was always something we talked about but, life is scary and unpredictable. I have never really been a risk taker. Until, 8 years ago, we had a life upheaval. I was diagnosed with MS and the next day my husband was diagnosed with cancer. You would think this would have crushed us but, it actually opened our eyes to how short life is. We made a pact that we would try to say yes more. Try more things. We learned a lot about what we wanted in life and what we didn’t. This was the beginning of this new chapter…….a few years ago we were in a bar located near our condo.  One of the employees had mentioned it was for sale, we joked that it would be fun to buy it and start our dream.  The next day my husband called from a job he didn't enjoy and said he made an appointment at the bank for us.  I questioned why we would need to go to the bank!  He said "to buy the bar, silly!" and 6 weeks later we had the keys in our hand.  It has been a whirlwind experience and we have learned a lot. Due to rent increases we decided to make the move to Penticton. We met 20 years ago at Okanagan College and my husband spent a lot of his childhood in Penticton so, Penticton was a no brainer. The weather is fantastic and the people here are truly wonderful. We are very happy to call Penticton home.
